Industrial plant noise emissions:
Space Acoustics provided environmental noise evaluation in support of planning applications for 3 sites in Swizerland of EuroTube, vacuum transport development laboratories with powerful vacuum generating plant, stations and with vacuum tubes extending over several kilometres.
Assessments included noise output predictions for the industrial plant, building design and noise protection, operations analysis and environmental emissions compliance with local regulations.     

Rocket launch bases:
Space Acoustics supported private companies preparing detailed plans for of 2 new bases for civilian space launch vehicles in Scotland.  Noise predictions were made for 2 types of multi-engine vertical lift off and reusable space-plane vehicles based on NASA SP-8072 methods.  Noise spectrum and levels were calculated at vehicle and fixed positions for use in safety trade-offs and environmental planning inputs.  
SKYRORA vehicle noise analysis was performed for safety and environmental impact assessment, with noise contours calculated for the surrounding community.  Reduction of noise was supported by launch pad design calculations for a range of suppression techniques.
